Theyâ?ll be able to enjoy movies on a screen that is 36-feet high and 65-feet wide, making it the largest movie screen north of Grand Rapids, according to project manager John Arvanis. The 60-thousand square foot building features 14 movie theaters including one IMAX Theater. The theater will be called Cherry Blossom 14.
The theater is located off of Division Street on the former Horizon Outlet Property.Ĭonstruction started in February of 2015 and the project manager says crews are ahead of schedule. Traverse City Partners announced their plans in 2014 to build the new Carmike movie theater.
